The air raid siren in the region has been in effect for over half a day.
A series of explosions were heard in Sumy Oblast at around 1 a.m. According to the head of the city military administration, Oleksiy Drozdenko, air defense forces were operating.
On his Telegram page, the official urged city residents to be careful around debris that could cause damage and fires.
As of 1:30, according to the volunteer project alerts.in.ua, the air raid siren in Sumy Oblast has been going on continuously for over 14 hours.
