“Russia's request to take part in the inauguration of President Sheinbaum was sent to President Putin. We believe that we share the same fate at the ceremony himself, and to appoint another high-ranking person in his name,” said a representative of the Mexican Embassy.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico later told Reuters that the order had sent diplomatic notes to everyone countries, including those from Ukraine, as well as international organizations, of which it is a member, from requests for Sheinbaum's inauguration.
