Some regions of Ukraine did not follow the dispatcher's orders to restrict power, and they will be held accountable for this.
German Galuen Galushchenko said that after checking the outages, some regions did not follow the dispatcher's orders to restrict power, and therefore the violators will be held accountable.
He said this during a briefing in Nikolaev, Ukrinform writes.
“During the power outage schedules, some regions of Ukraine did not follow the dispatcher's orders to restrict power, and therefore the violators will be held accountable.
restrictions, now legal conclusions will be made on them. In particular, the State Energy Supervision Service inspected Zhitomir and found such violations there. The situation is aggravated by the fact that inspectors were not allowed to the ECT,” the minister said.
He added that this is unacceptable in peacetime, especially during a war. Therefore, the principle of justice must apply, as it was in 2022-2023, and it should not be that some sit without electricity for 16 hours, while others only for two or four.
Galushchenko noted that Ukraine has a single energy system that distributes the electricity deficit evenly across all regions.
“Yes, there are certain points related to the presence of a greater or lesser number of critical infrastructure or industrial facilities, but this does not significantly affect the situation,” the minister noted.
Earlier, the State Energy Supervision Service checked the application of hourly outage schedules and fair distribution of electricity in the regions by regional power companies.
The largest number of violations were found in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zhytomyr regions.
