At night, Russia launched a missile and drone strike on Ukraine. The enemy launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the territory of the Belgorod region – they were aimed at the Kharkiv region. The Russians also launched two Kh-59 guided air missiles from the airspace over the Sea of Azov.
In addition, they launched four “shaheeds”. They managed to shoot down all the drones, but only the air missiles, Air Force Commander Nikolai Oleshchuk wrote in Telegram.
“As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, anti-aircraft missile troops and units of the Air Force reconnaissance forces shot down two Kh-59 guided air missiles and four attack UAVs in the Odessa, Kherson and Kirovograd regions,” he said.
