The “counter-terrorist operation” regime, which Russian authorities declared in the Bryansk region by Friday evening, has been expanded. According to propaganda media, the Belgorod and Kursk regions have been added to the “CTO” zone.

The National Anti-Terrorism Committee of Russia states that “the Ukrainian military has made an unprecedented attempt to destabilize the situation in a number of regions.”

The agency is also disseminating unsubstantiated and unconfirmed information that “the terrorist attack on the territory of the Kursk region by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine resulted in civilian casualties, the destruction of residential buildings and other civilian objects.”

The Ukrainian side has not officially commented on the incident in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
