“It has been established that the enemy launched an airstrike on the city with an Kh-38 missile and hit a supermarket. According to preliminary estimates, in addition to this supermarket, 4 private homes, 9 stores, a car wash, Novaya Pochta, retail pavilions and 12 cars were damaged. Authorities, police, rescuers and doctors continue to work at the scene of this crime,” reported Vadim Filashkin, chairman of the Donetsk OVA.

On August 9, Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Headquarters.
According to the President, the discussion focused, in particular, on the situation at the front and with air defense.
“First of all, we heard the report of Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky regarding the situation in all key areas: the south, Kurakhovo, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Vremen Yar, Luhansk and Kharkiv regions. And regarding our defensive actions in the areas from which Russia launched strikes on Ukrainian territory,” Zelensky noted.
