As of 22:00 on August 19, 154 combat clashes occurred. Ukrainian defenders continue to decisively repel the enemy. The enemy continues to attack most actively in the Pokrovsky direction.
This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian invaders carried out 71 airstrikes on Ukrainian territory, dropping 86 KABs. In addition, they brought in 629 kamikaze drones carried out more than 3,400 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
On KharkivIn this direction, the enemy attacked our soldiers' defensive lines five times near Liptsy and Volchanskaya. Four attacks were stopped, one is ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out 13 offensive and assault actions. Most of all – near Sinkovka and Glushkovka, four and five respectively.

In LimanskyOver the course of 24 hours, Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions near seven different settlements. They were most active near Makeyevka and Nevsky. In total, our defenders repelled 11 attacks in this direction.
In the Seversky direction, during combat clashes, the defenders of the Ukrainian land stopped 8 enemy attacks in the areas of Ivano-Daryevka, Spornoye and Verkhnekamenskoye. Not far from the latter, another combat clash is also ongoing.
In KramatorskoyeIn this direction, the enemy carried out five offensive actions near Ivanovskoye and Andreyevka. The defense forces repelled all attempts by the enemy to advance.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians attacked Ukrainian troops 21 times in the areas of Toretsk, New York, Zheleznoye, Nelipovka and Severny. 16 combat contacts have been completed, five more are ongoing, four of them are near Toretsk.
In Pokrovskoyedirection, since the beginning of this day, 63 combat clashes have been conducted. The enemy concentrated its efforts near the settlements of Vozdvizhenka, Novogrodovka, Mikhaylovka – it carried out almost half of the total number of attacks there. The defense forces have already stopped 60 assaults, three are still ongoing.
According to preliminary information, today in the Pokrovsky direction 325 occupiers were neutralized, 133 of them – irretrievably. Also destroyed 13 cars, 12 UAVs of various types, five guns and mortars and four combat armored vehicles. In addition, our soldiers significantly damaged two mortars and 14 enemy vehicles.
In the Kurakhovskoye direction, the enemy attacked our positions 11 times near Nevelskoye and Konstantinovka. As a result of the clashes, he was defeated.
In the Vremevsky direction, the enemy carried out five assault actions, in particular towards Vodyanoye. All assaults were repelled.
In the Prydniprovsky direction, one attack by the occupiers was unsuccessful.
Today we celebrate the soldiers of the 25th separate airborne Sicheslav brigade, who are steadily holding the defense and with effective combat work are proving to the occupiers that they have no place in Ukraine.
