Lithuania has established itself as a base for German troops at the border with Russia

Lithuania began its activities on the basis of end of 2027 to accommodate up to 4000 fighting against the German military forces. This will be the first of the gradual outbreak of the German military during the Second World War.

RBC-Ukraine reports this via correspondence to Reuters.

The German government has pledged to displace the army a member of NATO and the European Union , what is between Russia and the past. Nearly thousands more German military and civilian contractors will be stationed at other facilities in Lithuania.

New military infrastructure includes 120 buvels, helicopter platforms, training grounds, bridgeheads, over 10 km of internal roads etc. Based on the contract, this infrastructure will be created and transferred to the German brigade over three years. The township borrowed 170 hectares.

The government of Nimeččini requested 2.93 billion euros from the parliament for the purchase of 105 Leopard 2 A8 tanks, partly for equipping the Lithuanian base. Prote budget monsters in the middle of the fragmented coalition do not threaten Berlin's government to modernize its army.
