GUR names target of drone attack on Moscow

The drones were targeting a radio-technical reconnaissance station.

Head of GUR Kirill Budanov

Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for the Moscow Region of the Russian Federation.

According to the general, the target of the shelling, which Moscow called perhaps the largest during the entire full-scale war, was a radio-technical reconnaissance center near the Russian capital.

GUR drones also targeted the Millerovo airbase in the Rostov region and the Ostafyevo airfield in Moscow. The latter target was a mistake: it was meant to distract the enemy.

In total, according to Budanov, about fifty UAVs were used. The GUR is assessing the consequences of the shelling.
