Over 18 hectares of natural ecosystems burned in Sumy region over the past 24 hours

Rescuers were called out 23 times to extinguish fires. They managed to prevent the outbreak of large-scale fires and the spread of fire to forest plantations and residential buildings.

In total, more than 100 rescuers, 27 units of special equipment of the State Emergency Service, as well as volunteer and local fire brigades were involved.
