On Sunday, August 25, hourly power outage schedules will not be applied, Ukrenergo reports.
“No consumption restriction measures are forecast for tomorrow, AUGUST 25. If the situation changes, additional information about the use of shutdowns will be provided,” the statement says.
At the same time, the company urged citizens to use powerful electrical appliances during daytime hours – from 10:00 to 16:00.
< Note that another NPP unit was recently returned for repairs, which added an additional 1,000 MW of capacity to the power system. This will allow not to limit the power supply.
Meanwhile, Ukraine plans to resume electricity exports to neighboring countries. Exports will be carried out exclusively during periods of surplus.
