Following the amendments of the authors of the bill, the increase in excise taxes will increase prices for gasoline by 1.50 hryvnia, for diesel – by 1.95 hryvnia and for automobile gas – by 5.8 hryvnia per liter.

According to the forecast of the National Bank, for the third quarter of 2024 prices on the stove will increase by 3.8%, for IV quarter – by 5.4%. As a result, by the end of the year the price of fuel will rise by over 9%.
In the opinion of the director of the consulting company “A-95” Sergey Kuyun, the availability of gasoline and diesel will not change in the spring.
“I don’t particularly believe that the price of diesel and gasoline is increasing. At the end of the day, purchasing prices in the world have fallen, which makes it possible to compensate for the increased supply in price,” he said in a commentary from RBC-Ukraine on.
This does not include an increase in prices for natural gas for cars, since the increase in excise taxes is greater. In his words, prices for autogas have already begun to increase incrementally at new rates.
