A large-scale fire in the Kharkiv region continues. /p>
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov.
According to him, the fire damaged and destroyed about 250 residential buildings in Studenko. More than 600 people were evacuated from the village.
“But most people do not want to leave the community. We are collecting the need for temporary accommodation in the district,” added the head of the OVA.
He noted that the fire spread to the territory of the Kharkiv region from the Donetsk region. The victims can count on payments for the destroyed property.
“This emergency is a consequence of enemy military actions, so all affected citizens will be able to receive compensation for the destroyed property under the Restoration program. I gave instructions to the relevant department of the Kharkiv OVA, the district military administration, as well as the heads of communities to accumulate all resources for the preparation of all relevant documents and decisions,” added Sinegubov.
- The fire engulfed about 1,200 hectares. On September 2, the regional authorities reported 200 evacuated residents.
