ZSU Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Sirsky gave an interview to the American TV channel CNN. The head of the investigation about the reasons for the operation in the Kursk region, the situation on the hottest front and not only that.
RBC-Ukraine collected the main statement of the head of the ZSU in an interview with CNN.
About the Kursk operation ZSU
According to Sirsky, the Ukrainian operation in the Kursk region is successful. For her, the Ukrainian command had a number of reasons:
- not to allow Russia to conquer the Kursk region as a springboard for a new offensive;
- to draw Russian forces from other directions to the front;
- to avoid Russian shelling of the Ukrainian border;
- raise the fighting spirit of the ZSU and Ukrainians.
He added that Russia has already transferred tens of thousands of troops to the Kursk region. Zokrema, members of the largest airborne assault troops.
“This changed the threat to the enemy's attack. We started activities with them. We transferred the fighting to enemy territory, so that (the enemy – ed.) wow We’re here today,” he told CNN.
About Pokrovsk
The Ukrainian army directly called for the entry of the Russian army into Pokrovsky, saying Sirsky. Even though they are the hottest on the front, the Russians are already several kilometers away from the place.
“For the remaining six days on the Pokrovsky straight line, the enemy has not moved a meter. In other words, our strategy is working,” – said the head commander of the ZSU .

Reasonable war
Sirsky stated that Russia has a material advantage, holding aircraft, missiles, tanks, artillery, ammunition, and also in a special warehouse. Therefore, according to the words of the commander, Ukraine is concerned about the “reasonable and effective” nature of the war.
“We cannot fight like they stink (Russians – ed.), that is why we are guilty of vikoryst, first of all, the most effective approach is to vikorist our forces and abilities to the maximum extent possible strive for technical superiority”, – he said, having guessed about the drone program and other high-tech technology.
Getting started with mobilization
Ukrainian recruits are being wasted at the front after they have undergone less training, as Sirsky stated in an interview. Once nominated by the head, recruits undergo one month of basic military training, and then half to a full month of more specialized training, after which they are sent to the military.
“Of course, we want the level of training to be at its highest, so we are preparing highly qualified professional military servicemen. At the same time, the dynamics at the front are imposing on us the most recent recruitment of military servicemen ів”, – explained Vin.
About the legacy of assistance from the USA
In addition, Sirskiy came up with a temporary shutdown with military assistance from the United States, which brought about the end of the past – the beginning of its doom. In his words, this delay caused serious failures on the battlefield and led to a decline in morale.
