Police are investigating criminal offenses after the fact a military serviceman was beaten in Pervotravensk, Dnipropetrovsk region.
This was reported by the press service of the National Police.
“The incident took place on August 14 near a supermarket on Nezavisimosti Street in Pervotravensk. A group of people attacked a 24-year-old man and caused him bodily harm. The victim was a serviceman,” the report says.
It is noted that among the attackers was a deputy of the Pervomaisky City Council.

The police reported that the faces of all the attackers have been identified, and a pre-trial investigation is ongoing under Part 2 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism committed by a group of persons). The attackers face up to five years of restricted freedom or up to four years of imprisonment.
