The corresponding order has already been signed.
Pushkin monument in Odessa
Derussification will continue in Odessa, said Oleg Kiper, head of the Odessa OVA.
“It (the Pushkin monument, – ed.) is also in the order signed for its deterioration,” Kiper said.
He added that the corresponding letters have already been sent, and it will not be the OVA that will demolish the monument.< /p>

Kiper also recalled that the first thing the occupiers did in Mariupol was change the names of streets.
- In February of this year, Odessa deputies failed to vote on renaming more than 100 toponyms in honor of Ukrainian heroes. The names of streets and alleys must be changed within the framework of the law on decolonization.
- At the end of July, the head of the Odessa OVA Oleg Kiper approved a list of new toponyms in the city of Odessa.
- Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov was outraged by the recent time. Subsequently, Oleg Kiper responded to Trukhanov's campaign against renaming and assured that there will be no imperial and Soviet names in Odessa.
