The SBU drones also hit the infrastructure of the Shaikovka military airfield, where the Tu-22M strategic aviation aircraft are stationed.
On the night of September 21, the Defense Forces of Ukraine, together with the SBU, hit two Russian military arsenals in the Krasnodar Territory and the Tver Region. The Shaikovka military airfield was also attacked.
This was reported by LB.ua and the General Staff sources.
In particular, the SBU drones worked on the 23rd arsenal of the Main Artillery Directorate of the Russian Defense Ministry in the Tver Region, artillery and missile weapons for the Iskander operational-tactical missile systems and the Tochka-U tactical missile systems were preserved.
After the successful “arrivals” of the Ukrainian drones, a detonation began at the warehouse, five fires were recorded.
Also, fire damage was inflicted on the Tikhoretsk arsenal, which is located in the Krasnodar Territory, which is one of the three largest ammunition storage bases of the occupiers and is one of the key ones in the logistics system of the Russian troops.
At the time of the strike, another train was on the territory of the arsenal, which delivered at least 2 thousand tons of ammunition, including from the DPRK. The Podlet radar station, which detected air targets in the direction of the arsenal, was attacked.
“The SBU, together with all the Defense Forces of Ukraine, is systematically reducing the enemy’s missile and artillery potential. This week we already blew up a large arsenal in Toropka, Tver Oblast. Today it was the turn of the next largest train — one of the enemy’s important logistics points, where ammunition for strikes on Ukraine was stored. The “falling debris” season is in full swing,” an informed source in the SBU said.
The tasks were successfully completed in cooperation with units of the Defense Forces: the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and others.
SBU drones also hit the infrastructure of the Shaikovka military airfield (Kaluga region, Russian Federation), where TU-22M strategic aviation aircraft are deployed, regularly shelling Ukraine.
