Drones of the Security Service of Ukraine hit the infrastructure of the Shaikovka military airfield in the Kaluga region of Russia, Ukrinform reports citing sources.

It is noted that this airfield is home to TU-22M strategic aviation aircraft, which regularly shell Ukraine.

“The SBU, together with all the Defense Forces of Ukraine, is systematically reducing the enemy's missile and artillery potential. This week we have already blown up a large arsenal in Toropka, Tver Oblast. Today it is the turn of the next largest compound – one of the enemy's important logistics points, where ammunition for strikes on Ukraine was stored. The season of “falling debris” is in full swing,” the source noted.

No power outages are planned in Ukraine on Sunday, Ukrenergo reported.

“No measures to limit consumption are planned for tomorrow, September 22. If the situation changes, additional information will be provided,” the statement said.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga reported that, according to intelligence, Russia is preparing strikes on Ukrainian nuclear power facilities.

“According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Kremlin is preparing strikes on critical nuclear power facilities in Ukraine on the eve of winter. In particular, we are talking about open switchgears of nuclear power plants and transmission substations, which are critical for the safe operation of nuclear power,” the head of Ukrainian diplomacy wrote in a telegram.

Sybiha noted that the destruction of these facilities creates a high risk of a nuclear incident that will have global consequences. The Ukrainian special services have already passed on all the information to their partners. The IAEA was also informed.

“Russia is the only country that has seized a nuclear power plant in Europe, blackmailing the world. The Ukrainian Peace Formula contains a clause on ensuring radiation and nuclear safety. We call on all international organizations and states that respect the UN Charter to prevent the terrorist country scenario,” the minister wrote.
