New Zealand has introduced new sanctions against Russia for the war in Ukraine

New Zealand introduced a new package of sanctions against Russia as part of a trivial legal invasion of Ukraine. These are directly related to the Russian occupation of Zaporizia Nuclear Power Plant.

” Russia’s aggressive war against Ukraine is illegal, and what’s troubling is that it is an encroachment on order, based on rules,” he said.

The minister stressed that the occupation of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant poses a serious threat to nuclear security, and called on Russia to safely withdraw its troops from the territory of Ukraine.

New sanctions There are five physical and six legal entities, counting to support the invasion.

“Sanctions on Belarusian actors represent a joint effort with our like-minded international partners, directly aimed at condemnation and attraction to “the profile of those who support illegal activities in Russia,” the minister added.

Peters noted that New Zealand is in coordination with international partners, having joined more than 35 countries, which will also encourage approaches against those who harbor Russian aggression.
