Kharkiv law enforcement officers suspect the father and son of helping to remove a man from military registration for a reward.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region.

The 61-year-old Kharkov resident influenced his son, who works as a doctor and is a member of the military medical commission of one of the district territorial recruitment centers. The man insisted on establishing a false diagnosis for the “client” and issuing an extract from the patient's medical record for subsequent removal from military registration on the basis of an invalid diagnosis,” the report says.

It is noted that for influencing the decision of the VLK to establish a false diagnosis, the perpetrators received 3.6 thousand dollars.

The police reported that the father received a subscription in the amount of 40 thousand hryvnia on August 15. As a result, the “customer” was provided with a certificate and an extract from the inpatient treatment as confirmation.

Already on September 12, the 61-year-old man received 2.6 thousand dollars, during which the police detained him.

The men face imprisonment for up to 8 years with confiscation of property.
