Important changes have been made to the Concept of military coverage , reports the Ministry of Defense.
The department notes that another important step has been taken in improving the military education system. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has brought the Concept of Transformation of the Military Education System into line with the Law of Ukraine “On Education”.
Adopted by the government The resolution was developed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Changing:
- the components of the structure of the military education system have been clarified;
- the goal of training lyceum students of military lyceums, lyceums with enhanced military-physical training, students of professional colleges with enhanced military-physical training has been defined;
- now the structure of the military education system includes basic military training of lyceum students of military lyceums and lyceums with enhanced military-physical training, instead of pre-conscription training.
These lyceum students and students of professional colleges with enhanced military and physical training will receive primary general military knowledge necessary for admission to higher military educational institutions institutions. This approach will ensure continuous education of military personnel to develop their careers, the department noted.
