Zelensky: “We can stop Putin by November”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that Russian dictator Putin will be stopped by November.

Zelensky made this statement after a meeting with former US President Donald Trump.

The head of state noted that it is necessary to strengthen Ukraine and now it is necessary to decide how to do this, because “we do not know who will be president after November – only America decides who will be president.”

“But we understand that we can stop Putin by November. We must do this, we will try – on the battlefield with our heroic warriors, but we understand that after November we will have to decide, and we hope that the power of the United States will be very strong, we are counting on it,” Zelensky said.

He added that this is why he “decided to meet with both candidates with all due respect to them.”

Trump, in turn, added that “we will have to work very hard with both sides to try to resolve this issue and find a solution” and stressed that the war must end.

In a speech to reporters, Trump said that he has good relations with Zelensky, but also good relations with Putin.

The American politician, answering a question about how he would imagine a “fair” agreement that would end the war between Russia and Ukraine, said that “it is too early to talk about it … I have my own ideas, and the president, of course, has his own ideas. It must be fair.”
