During the searches, more than 220,000 hryvnias, more than 23,000 dollars, of which 17,000 probably showed signs of counterfeiting, as well as 9 premium cars and rough notes were seized.
Later, they recruited two more Lviv residents who were not part of the organized group to sell counterfeit dollars. The men were not aware of their criminal activity. For the work they did, they received dividends from the profits.
During the operational-search activities, all the men were identified and detained in accordance with Articles 208, 615 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. During the searches, more than 220,000 hryvnias, more than 23,000 dollars, of which 17,000 probably showed signs of counterfeiting, as well as 9 premium cars and draft records were seized.
Investigative actions are ongoing. A number of examinations have been ordered.
