President of the Commander-in-Chief and heard information about the situation at the front. Also important issues were the staffing of brigades and the purchase of weapons.
The president spoke about this during his evening address.
“I held a meeting at Headquarters today. Several key issues. The first is the staffing of brigades. The second is weapons and equipment for our soldiers, purchases and deliveries. Today we also discussed separately with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Umerov the fulfillment of contracts and how institutions in the Ministry of Defense system work.
The president also spoke in detail and at great length today with Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky and Chief of the General Staff Anatoly Bargilevich. Their conversation lasted more than two and a half hours.
“A very difficult situation. The most important thing is to put pressure on Russia by all means, by all instruments, in order to achieve our goal as quickly as possible – a real and fair peace for Ukraine, for all our people. Everything that can be done during this fall, everything that we can achieve, we must achieve each and every one of the Ukraine team.
