The department welcomed the step by the Ukrainian side to resume the search.

expressed approval of the statement by the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance on the possibility of resuming work on the search and exhumation of victims of the Volyn tragedy, which is a constant stumbling block in relations between the two neighboring states.

As European Pravda writes, Foreign Ministry spokesman Pavel Vronsky noted that the Poles believe the intention of the Ukrainian side is “a step in the right direction”, but they want “not plans, but a concrete solution”.
