The National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office have sent a case to court charging the current people's deputy of Ukraine with illegal enrichment of UAH 11 million.

As the investigation established, in 2020-2021, the people's representative acquired assets worth a total of UAH 25 million, although the official income and savings of him and his wife for this period amounted to no more than UAH 14 million. Thus, the difference between the value of the acquired property and cash was UAH 11 million.
We are talking about 3 land plots in the Kyiv region, 5 apartments in the capital, 2 non-residential premises, as well as Tesla and Mercedes-Benz cars.
To hide the presence of this property, the people's deputy registered the overwhelming majority of it in the names of close relatives, retaining the right to dispose of it in full.
NABU does not name the MP, but it is clear from open sources that it is Andriy Klochko.
- On May 2, 2024, Klochko was notified of suspicion under Article 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation was completed in June. The crime was exposed after the publication of journalistic investigations, including those by the Bihus.Info team, and with the assistance of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
- On May 10, the VAKS chose a preventive measure for Klochok – 12 million UAH bail. The suspect was also assigned procedural obligations, such as: to appear at every request of the detective, prosecutor and court; not to leave the city of Kyiv without the permission of the detective, prosecutor and court; to inform the detective, prosecutor and court about changes in his place of residence and place of work; to refrain from communicating with witnesses in the case; to hand over his passport/passports for travel abroad, other documents giving the right to leave Ukraine and enter Ukraine for safekeeping to the appropriate government agency.
- In January 2022, the Bihus.Info team released an investigation into how the millionaire MP from the Servant of the People Klochko receives 20 thousand hryvnias from the budget every month for rent. In 2019, the MP allocated 20 thousand UAH from the budget for rent, in 2020 – almost 160 thousand, and in 2021 – 236 thousand.
- In September 2021, it became known that Klochko's 70-year-old mother became the owner of two apartments in Kyiv, a house, land plots and a car in two years. The market value of this property is now approximately 14.5 million UAH. Klochko stated that he was not involved in his mother's real estate and explained that his sister was helping her.
- At the end of December 2021, SAP opened a criminal case against Klochko under the article on illegal enrichment.
- In September 2022, the Honest Movement reported that MP Klochko owed money to a utility company and did not want to pay it.
- Before becoming a deputy, Andriy Klochko was a private entrepreneur whose main activity was book trading.
