Students in grades 1-4 will receive high-quality and nutritious hot meals.
The school must organize full-time or mixed (full-time and distance) education.

The communities can use the money received to purchase food or pay for catering and/or outsourcing services.
At the same time, the cost of hot meals for primary school students should not exceed the cost of meals for students in grades 5-11 (12). issues of food safety and quality.
The government adopted changes regarding the mechanisms for attracting donor funds to implement the school nutrition reform in educational institutions. In 2024, the state budget allocated 1.5 billion hryvnias for the repair and reconstruction of school canteens. Most of the funds, namely 1.050 billion, were to be spent by August 1.
