Fedorov: A resident of occupied Melitopol died in captivity

Russians are holding trials of Ukrainians on TOT, and also adding people's names to the list of “terrorists and extremists.”

Illustrated resident of temporarily occupied Melitopol Tatyana Plachkova, who was kidnapped by the occupiers and accused of “espionage.”

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhya OVA Ivan Fedorov.

“We share the pain of the family of Melitopol resident Tatyana Plachkova, who died in places of confinement set up by the occupiers, and thousands more people who passed through the shy occupiers,” the statement says.

Fedorov adds that Russia continues a targeted policy of extermination and intimidation of residents of the occupied territories of the Zaporizhia region. “It is arranging trials of residents who were kidnapped and illegally held in places of confinement – there are currently dozens of cases against Ukrainians in the Southern District Court of Russia,” he says.

Every week, the occupiers add people from the TOT of the Zaporizhia region to the list of “terrorists and extremists”, they are restricted in their rights, and are wanted and prisoners.

On July 31, it became known that Ukrainian prisoner of war Alexander Ishchenko, who served as a driver in the Azov regiment, died in Pre-trial Detention Center No. 5 in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.
