Kamala Harris Refused to Negotiate with Putin Without Ukraine

But the Democrat answered the question about Ukraine's membership in NATO evasively.

The American television channel CBS showed an interview with , who is claiming to be the first woman to lead the United States. One of the topics of conversation was the war in Ukraine.

According to The Guardian, Harris was asked whether she would agree to sit down at the negotiating table with Russian dictator Putin. The Democrat said that she would not do this on a bilateral basis, since she requires Ukraine's involvement in any negotiation processes.

As for Harris's attitude to Ukraine's desire to receive an invitation to NATO, the politician did not give a clear answer, saying that “issues will be resolved if we reach that point.” In the meantime, “the United States supports Ukraine's stability and its defense against unprovoked aggression.”

Harris was also asked to say whether she considers Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a “close ally” on the anniversary of the Hamas attack on Israel. However, the vice president also avoided giving a clear answer, pointing to “the important partnership that definitely exists between the American and Israeli people.”
