Defense Ministry denies halting mobilization booking in Ukraine

Due to a sharp increase in reserved states, an audit of critical enterprises will be conducted.

First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Gavrilyuk in a commentary on the process of reservations from mobilization.

According to the official, it was he who initiated the audit at a government meeting, within the framework of which enterprises that have received the status of critically important from local governments will be checked. If they do not meet certain criteria, the right to a reservation will be reviewed.

The Defense Ministry cites a sharp increase in the number of reservations as the reason for the audit. According to Gavrilyuk, for two years this figure remained at about 540 thousand people, but in just the last few months it has doubled and exceeded one million.
