Journalist Victoria Roshchina died in Russian captivity, – Coordination Headquarters

This was announced on the air of the national telethon by Petro Yatsenko, a representative of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War in Ukraine, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

“Indeed, we conducted an internal investigation and, unfortunately, this information has been confirmed. Unfortunately, the information “Victoria's death has been confirmed,” Yatsenko said.

The circumstances of Roshchina's death are currently being investigated.

“Victoria Roshchina, like all Ukrainian journalists, is currently listed as being in Russian captivity. About 25 Ukrainian journalists (are in captivity in the Russian Federation, – ed.), there are also those who are considered missing. Work is underway on all of them. And work was also underway to dismiss Victoria, and the fact that she was transferred from Taganrog to Moscow was a stage in her preparation for dismissal,” Yatsenko said.
