The criminals “diagnosed” the men with mental illnesses in exchange for bribes.

Investigators have completed their investigation into the case involving the head of one of the departments at the Odessa psychiatric hospital and his father.

According to the Odessa police website, the criminals “diagnosed” the conscripts with mental illnesses in exchange for bribes.

During the pre-trial investigation, the police found that The son and father set up a “business” on men who were old enough to be mobilized but did not want to serve in the army. For a monetary reward, the criminals provided “clients” with medical reports on mental illnesses, as well as certificates of inpatient treatment in a psychiatric hospital to present to the TCC employees.

The dealers were detained during one of these transactions, which cost the “client” 165 thousand hryvnia.

During searches of office buildings and at the place of residence, investigators seized $ 1,000, which the dealers received for their “services”, and other money, official documentation, “draft notes”, mobile phones and other things that were important in the case.

During the pre-trial investigation, the funds were seized.

The court chose a preventive measure for the detainees in the form of detention with the right to post bail in the amount of 241 thousand 920 UAH. The dealers posted bail, but did not return to work because they were suspended from their positions.

Now the police have sent the indictment to the court.
