Military actions in Donetsk region, 153 combat clashes, enemy shelling. How will the 962nd day of the full-scale war be remembered?

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that as of 22:00 on October 12, 153 combat clashes were recorded.

The Russian invaders launched one missile strike with three missiles, 61 airstrikes, dropped 106 KABs, and also deployed 399 kamikaze drones on Ukrainian territory. The enemy carried out 3,275 attacks on positions of our troops and populated areas.

In the Pokrovsk directionthe intensity of military actions remains high. The number of combat contacts has increased to 27. The invaders continue to press on our positions near the settlements of Mirolyubovka, Lisovka, Kruty Yar, Selidovo, Novotroitske, Mirnograd and Mykhailivka. Our defenders have repelled 24 attacks so far, and three more combat clashes are ongoing.

In the Kurakhovsky directionby now there have been 47 combat clashes of varying intensity. The occupiers were most active in trying to advance in the areas of Izmailovka, Gornyak, Kurakhovka, Zhelanny Vtoroy, Tsukurino, Novodmitrovka, Novoselidovka, Georgievka, Konstantinovka, Kurakhovoye, Zvezdny, Dalny and Antonovka.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky summed up the results of trips abroad and meetings.

“Defense packages for protection, air defense, investments in the production of drones and other weapons in Ukraine – these are all the results of the visit to London, Paris, Rome and Berlin,” the head of state noted in a telegram.

He added that he presented the details of the Victory Plan to his partners.

“Now we will work at the team level to make our steps on the front and diplomacy as strong as possible. Our common goal is to bring a just peace closer to Ukraine and all of Europe,” Zelensky added.

The situation in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation is constantly changing, while active fighting continues there. The Center for Countering Disinformation calls for not jumping to conclusions.

“Active fighting continues in the Kursk region. After the Defense Forces partially regained the positions that the Russians had entered, they began sending columns to storm again,” notes Andrey Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation.

The chairman of the CPI adds that the situation in the Kursk region is dynamic, so it is important not to focus on individual conclusions.

“Tough battles, the situation is constantly changing, Russian war correspondents, by the way, are trying to dry up the topic, because everything is not working out the way they wanted,” the report says.

A court in Tbilisi has fined three Georgian TV channels for refusing to air a political video from the ruling Georgian Dream party. The video contrasts footage of buildings in Ukraine destroyed by the war with undamaged houses in Georgia, Formula writes.

The Tbilisi City Court has fined Formula, Main Channel, and First Channel 5,000 lari (about $1,800) for failing to air a propaganda video from Georgian Dream. The court granted the Communications Commission's motion, and now TV channels are required to immediately comply with the decision and air political advertising.
