The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, condemned the IDF attacks against UN forces in Lebanon. He called such attacks unpleasant and such that they grossly violate international law.

“The EU condemns all attacks against the UN mission. The EU (European bloc – ed.) is particularly concerned about the Israeli Defense Forces' attacks against the UN Temporary Force in Lebanon, which injured many peacekeepers. Such attacks against UN peacekeepers and gross violations of international law and completely unpleasant. These attacks are likely to be carried out without harm,” says the document.
