Political prisoner Irina Danilovich's health condition is deteriorating

The woman has lost her hearing and suffered at least one microstroke.

The imprisoned journalist's health continues to rapidly deteriorate in 2022.

This was stated by the Representative Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

“During her imprisonment, she developed serious hearing problems – now she has completely lost hearing in her left ear, in addition, during this time, Irina experienced at least one microstroke and suffers from constant dizziness,” the statement said.

The Representative Office noted that as of October 14, the occupiers illegally arrested 218 people, of which 132 were Crimean Tatars. Of the total, 43 were arrested (including 28 Crimean Tatars), 151 were imprisoned (including 97 Crimean Tatars), 26 were without status (including 6 Crimean Tatars).

Irina Danilovich is a Crimean public journalist who was kidnapped by Russians in April 2022. She covered fabricated cases against political prisoners. the occupiers sentenced her to seven years in prison for allegedly possessing an explosive device.
