Prosecutor's Office: Four collaborators from Donetsk region have been declared suspects

All four so-called elected representatives of the “DPR People's Council” are wanted.

Four people of the DPR who support the crimes of the occupiers in the Donetsk region have been notified of suspicion.

This was reported by the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office.

Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office, four citizens have been notified in absentia of suspicion in collaboration activities (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

“In May and August 2023, residents of Donetsk, Zugres and Makeyevka registered as candidates for the so-called deputies of the “people's council of the DPR”. In September, having received “deputy mandates” as a result of illegitimate elections, two of them took the seats of “deputy chairmen of the committees on issues of the agro-industrial complex and land relations”, “constitutional legislation, state building and local self-government”. Two more decided to “take care” of youth policy, patriotic education and support for participants of “their own”.

The activities of the collaborators are aimed at establishing Russian authorities in the region. They participate in meetings, vote for the adoption of worthless laws and contribute to the “integration” of the captured territory of Donbass into the Russian Federation. During meetings with the population, they justify the Kremlin's actions regarding a full-scale invasion of Ukrainian soil.

“In July 2024, one of the suspects was already sentenced in absentia for crimes against our state to 12 years of imprisonment with the deprivation of the right to hold positions in state and local government bodies for 15 years and confiscation of property,” the department reports.

All four traitors are wanted.
