161 combat clashes, battles in the Kurakhovsky and Pokrovsky directions, casualties of the occupiers, enemy shelling.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that 161 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours.

The enemy was most active in the Kurakhovsky direction.

< Aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces carried out 11 strikes on areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment, and also hit a command post and another important enemy facility.

In the Pokrovsky directionour defenders repelled 25 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Sukhoi Yar, Lisovka, Luch and Selidovo.

In the Kurakhovsky direction The Defense Forces repelled 39 enemy attacks near Zhelany Vtoroy, Kremennaya Balka, Izmailovka, Novoselidovka, Kurakhovka, Gornyak, Maksimilyanovka, Konstantinovka and Yekaterinovka.

< p class="MsoNormal">The General Staff also reports that over the past 24 hours, the defenders have eliminated 1,260 Russian occupiers. Since the beginning of the invasion, the enemy's losses have amounted to about 670,190 people.

On the night of October 14, at about 3:00, Russian occupation forces launched a massive attack on the northern part of Kherson, reported the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Roman Mrochko.

On the night of Monday, October 14, votes were counted in Lithuania in the first round of the elections to the Seimas in multi-mandate districts. The Social Democrats received the most mandates – 19.36%. They were previously predicted to win.

As LRT writes, the second place was won by the ruling Homeland Union-Lithuanian Christian Democrats party, led by Prime Minister Ingrid Šimonytė. This party received 17.96% of the votes. The third place went to Zaria nad Nemunam, which received 14.99% of the votes. This is a populist political party founded in November 2023 by Remigijus Žemaitaitis after his expulsion from Freedom and Justice due to anti-Semitic statements.

The fourth place went to the Democratic Union “Vardans Lietuvos”, led by Saulius Skvernelis, with 9.24% of the votes. Next came the Liberal Movement, with 7.70 percent.

The final results of the first round were counted by the Central Election Commission at 04:45. The second round of elections will be held in Lithuania on October 27.
