Ukraine has reduced the period for urgent passport processing from ten to seven days.
This was reported by the government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.
“Amendments have been made to the appendix “List of administrative services in the field of migration and their cost” to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 02.11.2016 N 770 “Some issues of providing administrative services in the field of migration” in order to bring the list of paid services provided by bodies and divisions of the State Migration Service of Ukraine and the amount of payment for their provision in accordance with “ZU N 3709-IX”, Melnychuk wrote.
In particular, the List has been supplemented with an administrative service for the simultaneous registration (including in place of a lost or stolen passport), exchange of a Ukrainian citizen passport and a passport/passports of a Ukrainian citizen for travel abroad, and its cost has been set depending on the urgency.
The period for providing an administrative service for urgent registration (including in place of a lost or stolen passport) and exchange of a Ukrainian citizen passport has been reduced from 10 to 7 working days, except for the registration of a Ukrainian citizen passport for the first time.
