The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has increased the exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia. The dollar has become more valuable for the fourth day since then.
RBC-Ukraine reports this as posted on the regulator’s website.
The official exchange rate for June 18, 2024 is set at the following level: 41.2351 UAH for 1 dollar (+0.0095 UAH).

Rate The euro becomes 44.7937 hryvnia for 1 euro (-0.1195 UAH).

Today’s Mizhbank exchange rate fell by 4 kopecks to 41, 19-41.21 UAH/dollar (purchase and sale) adjusted from closing on the previous day.

On the ready market, the dollar exchange rate has not changed – 41.50 hryvnia.
NBU commentary
As the head of the NBU Andriy Pishny stated, the NBU will protect the stability of the foreign exchange market.
“You won't feel any direction towards the coming river from me. However, I can say that we are committed to ensuring the stability of the foreign exchange market. This means: don’t expect us to be on course to fly into space. It is important for the NBU to defeat our key goal – to reduce inflation to the target of 5% in the near future,” he said.
