Sources: At least 10,000 North Korean soldiers were at Russian training grounds in September

As of September, North Korea has sent about 10,000 people to the Russian army. They are “scattered” across four training grounds, LB.ua sources reported.

These are training grounds in Ussuriysk, Blagoveshchensk, Vladivostok and Khabarovsk. There is no reliable data yet that North Korean citizens have already been transferred to the war in Ukraine. . This source said that it is not yet known what type of soldiers and in what roles came from the DPRK to Russia.

Participation of the DPRK in the war against Ukraine

Yesterday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia received from the DPRK not only weapons, but also people for the army and work in factories. In addition, on October 14, he said that North Korea had actually joined the war against Ukraine. The next day, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation Andrey Kovalenko denied the information that Pyongyang would send 100,000 people to the Russian army. According to him, only less than one percent of DPRK officers speak Russian.

According to the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kirill Budanov, among Moscow's allies, Pyongyang creates more problems for Ukraine. North Korea provides the Russians with incomparable aid, he said back in September.
