The IMF increased financing of Ukraine by 2025 by a maximum of 880 million dollars

The International Monetary Fund has increased the amount of credit funds for the vision of Ukraine in 2025 880 million dollars .

As reported by RBC-Ukraine, this is included in the updated IMF memorandum.

With the document, the IMF previously planned to see Ukraine receive 1.835 billion dollars in 2025 in tranches of 917.5 million dollars (at the exact rate of USD to SDR) – for birch and sickle.

It is planned to see 2.712 billion dollars in tranches: for birch – 917.5 million dollars, in cherries – 809.6 million, sickle – 539.8 million, and chest – 445.3 million dollars.

Increasing the size lending in 2025 will be for the share of credit costs, which was previously planned for 2026-2027.

Previously, in the spring of 2026, and in the spring of 2027, it was planned for Ukraine All tranches amount to 1.3 billion dollars. Nina, their size was reduced to 941.3 million, 1.007 billion and 1.069 billion dollars, respectively.

It seems that today’s Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal stated that the IMF has recently approved Fifth review of EFF programs. This is why, in his words, it is necessary to allow our country to withdraw a new tranche of billions of dollars.

Vin specified that the new tranche of about 1.1 billion dollars will be directly allocated to cover important budgetary funds in a non-military nature .
