President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Headquarters and ordered the preparation of certain parts of the internal Plan for Strengthening Ukraine. Details are in the news.

Presidential Press Secretary Sergei Nikiforov stated that information in the media that 7 countries are against inviting Ukraine to NATO is not true.

Nikiforov noted that these rumors are beneficial to those who want to create the false impression that Ukraine's accession does not have broad support among the Alliance members. He assures that in fact the idea of inviting Ukraine is supported by the absolute majority of member countries, and otherwise active advocacy work is underway.

“The invitation is the first point of the Ukrainian president's victory plan and a reliable path to a fair and lasting peace. Volodymyr Zelensky presented the plan to international partners, the Ukrainian parliament and community, representatives of the media and civil society, and is consolidating their efforts to bring Ukraine's invitation to NATO closer,” Nikiforov said.

On the night of Sunday, October 27, Ukraine will switch to winter time again, that is, move its clocks back an hour.

This transfer, according to the law adopted by the Council, was supposed to be the last one, but President Zelensky has not yet signed it. BBC sources say that he does not plan to.

The draft law on time calculation in Ukraine No. 4201, which cancels the seasonal change of clocks, was supported by deputies in the second reading on July 16. That is, Ukrainians were supposed to switch to winter time in October and stay on it.

On August 21, the document was sent to the president for signature. As a source in the presidential team told BBC Ukraine, this law will not be signed. And the deadline for vetoing the law has already expired.
