This week, a power unit of the South Ukrainian NPP was disconnected from the grid

Now it is already producing energy again.

At the South Ukraine NPP, one reactor was disconnected from the grid this Tuesday. The shutdown lasted about four hours, the IAEA reported.

The cause was a false signal to the unit's protection systems without the reactor's safety systems being triggered. Experts are investigating what caused this.

“The reactor, one of three at the station, is once again producing electricity for the grid,” the report says.
