A drunk driver made threats. This was reported by the press service of the National Police.

At about 3 a.m. on the M-06 Kyiv-Chop highway, a citizen reported that she witnessed dangerous maneuvers of a truck that created emergency situations. Police officers caught up with the car near Didilov and found signs of alcohol intoxication in the 34-year-old driver.

The Drager device showed 1.73 ppm. A protocol was drawn up against the driver under Part 1 of Article 130 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine.

After reporting his suspension from driving and confiscation of his driver's license, the man opened the door of the service car, threatening with a grenade, and demanding the return of the documents.

In Rivne, a drunk driver called the police and said that the police were chasing him

The patrol officers took advantage of the moment, ran out of the car and ordered the object to be put on the ground. The man subsequently put the pin back in, after which he was detained.

Preliminary, the grenade turned out to be a training one, but it was sent for examination. A criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 342 (Resisting a law enforcement officer in the performance of his official duties) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The penalty for this article provides for imprisonment for up to two years.

Recall that in June, the use of express tests to check drivers for drug intoxication was permitted.
