“Russia itself has killed many Russians. Many mobilized Russian soldiers were killed by the Russian army itself because they were afraid to go forward, to advance, to die under bullets or to be wounded. He added that in eastern Ukraine, the Russian Federation is “pushing” through a meat grinder, using its soldiers like meat, and “throwing its corpses at us” and not taking its dead people from the battlefield.
According to Zelensky, after the Kursk operation, Ukrainian forces saw that the Russian Federation continues to beat on its territory and kill its civilians who remained in the Kursk region.
The head of state said that Russia's losses in the war amount to about 650 thousand people wounded and killed.
