Appeal of the High Anti-Corruption Court left Galushchenko's ex-deputy and his confidant in custody

Their lawyers challenged the extension of their detention.

Alexander Kheylo and another suspect in this case.

As reported by the press service of the Appeals Chamber, the defense appealed the decision of the HACC of October 2 and 3 of this year to extend the detention of Alexander Kheylo and his authorized representative Sergei Pilipchuk. As an alternative, the investigators set bail for them in the amount of UAH 25 million and UAH 65 million, respectively.

“Based on the results of the review, the panel of judges of the VAKS left the appeals of the defense without satisfaction, and the rulings of the investigative judges of the VAKS unchanged. The decision entered into legal force from the moment of its announcement and is not subject to appeal in cassation,” the appeal emphasized.
