As stated on the SBU website, the perpetrators chose Ukrposhta branches and Ukrzaliznytsia relay cabinets. The detainees worked on orders from the Russian FSB, which promised them money for the work they did. However, the payments never arrived.

In Kyiv, a 16-year-old student of a local vocational pedagogical college was caught, who set fire to three Ukrposhta branches in different parts of the city.

To commit the crimes, the guy bought an incendiary mixture, which he then poured into the premises of government agencies through the windows he had broken.

In Zhytomyr region, two arsonists were caught trying to burn down a relay cabinet regulating train traffic on a strategically important Ukrzaliznytsia line.< /p>
