Air defense shot down 2 guided missiles and 17 “shahids”

23 drones were lost in their location, three more flew in the direction of the Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

As reported by the Air Force, the enemy attacked the bridge across the Dniester estuary in Zatoka in the Odessa region. The occupiers fired two ballistic missiles Iskander-M/KN-23 from Crimea and eight Kh-59/69 guided air missiles from tactical aircraft over the Black Sea. The Russians also launched a strike with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Rostov region on Kramatorsk.

The enemy attacked from the Kursk and Orel directions with 43 Shahed-type strike UAVs and unidentified type drones. In addition to the two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles shot down in the evening in the Odessa region, as of 08:00, 17 enemy UAVs have been confirmed shot down. 23 drones have been lost in location, and three more Russian UAVs have left the airspace controlled by the Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Air defense operated in the Odessa, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Kharkov, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Poltava regions.
