During a press conference in Montreal, Canada, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga denied that the results of the US presidential election next week would affect the level of military aid to our country.

As Reuters writes, the official expressed confidence in “strong bipartisan support from both Republicans and Democrats.” The most important thing, according to Sybiga, is “the support of the American people.”

The minister also recalled that funding Ukraine's defense is “not charity, but a contribution to transatlantic security.” “We are confident in long-term support, because we are defending our common values and democracy, and the war concerns not only Ukraine, but also the restoration of world order,” Sybiga emphasized.
