The Foreign Ministry claims that it supports the findings of international observers, who recorded numerous violations during the elections: bribery, intimidation, coercion, pressure on voters, lack of transparency in voting, and the opposition's lack of access to the media.
The diplomats “are not surprised that the election results were highly praised and congratulated in Russia, because these are the methods typical of the Russian regime.”
Ukraine calls on Georgia “not to follow the Belarusian path to losing sovereignty and independence.” The facts established by observers “must be investigated to ensure the legitimacy of the elections and avoid a political crisis.”
- On November 4, the Georgian opposition intends to hold a large-scale protest in Tbilisi.
